- It shows the development and options for ideas in any objects
- Show connections and links between different parts of the product

digital - made on the computer with graphics and images.
Physical - hand made with physical pictures or objects.
what are the purposes of a mood board?
- to assist in the generation of ideas by collection a wide range of material for the final product,
- to stimulate creativity and innovate approaches.
what are the uses of a mood board?
- for any creative media project as a starting point,
- to collect samples, materials and a range of a relevant content,
- as a constant reminder of possible styles.
What are the uses of a visualisation diagrams?
- to give the client a rough outline of what the end product will look like,
- to give the design/ production team an image and plan for the product they will be making.
What is a visualisation diagram?
a rough sketch of what the final static product will look like, this is mostly hand drawn, however, could be done using a drawing tablet onto software

- to show how a finished product may look,
- to plan what materials and colours will be used to make the product.

What is a script?

Usually the starting point of any type of told story.

- to identify the location where the action takes place,
- to identify who will be in the scene,
- to provide stage directions for actors and production,
- to provide dialogue for the actors and other characters.
what are the uses of a script?
any moving product with dialogue, actions and timeline, for example:
- video productions,
- audio,
- animation products and short films,
- computer games with a plot/ story telling cut-scenes.
What is included in the content of the script?
- set or location where the action takes place,
- scene description,
- scene/ stage directions,
- camera shot types,
- camera movements,
- sounds and sound effects,
- names of actors/ characters,

- gender - male female groups
- location - the main groups are local, national and international.
- ethnicity - we live in a multi-national society national groups are found on a local as well as national and international scale
Purposes of a work plan
- To provide a timescale for the overall project to be completed
- to map or against time all the different aspects of the project
Content of a work plan
- tasks - the different stages or main sections of the overall project
- activities - a series of things to do in order to complete a task.
- deadlines - a date when something has to be completed by.

- video/film product
