- It shows the development and options for ideas in any objects
- Show connections and links between different parts of the product

digital - made on the computer with graphics and images.
Physical - hand made with physical pictures or objects.

- to assist in the generation of ideas by collection a wide range of material for the final product,
- to stimulate creativity and innovate approaches.
what are the uses of a mood board?
- for any creative media project as a starting point,
- to collect samples, materials and a range of a relevant content,
- as a constant reminder of possible styles.

- to give the client a rough outline of what the end product will look like,
- to give the design/ production team an image and plan for the product they will be making.

a rough sketch of what the final static product will look like, this is mostly hand drawn, however, could be done using a drawing tablet onto software

- to plan what materials and colours will be used to make the product.
