Q

What is the definition of
Potable
Pure
Impure

A

Q

How to purify Water

A

There are two ways of purifying water this is by removing soluble solutions which involves filtering out the substances through filtration or they can be rocked by distillation which boils the water to 100°C which allows the steam to escape from the substances that do not have the same boiling point and leave a filtrate of pure water.

Q

What does it mean by Re-Use, Reduce and Recycle

A

Re-use- Being able to use an object over and over again
Reduce- amount a resource can be used to stop the environmental effect
Recycle- when a object is used it can be recycled and used in another object

Q

Define Finite and Renewbale

A

Finite- A resource that will eventually run out due to the amount of times it has been used

Renewable- A resource that can be used over and over again or it replenishes itself

Q

Define
Global Dimming
Incomplete Combustion

A

Globally Dimming
The decrease amount of solar radiation reaching the surface of the earth
Incomplete Combustion
Will occur when there is not enough oxygen supplied and will always have an outcome of Carbon Dioxide and Water.

Q

Carbon Footprint

A

The carbon footprint is the mark we leave behind where we use oil, factories but the more you use them the larger the carbon footprint you possess but the less you use objects that require energy the smaller the carbon footprint.

Q

Finite resource

Renewable resource

A

A finite resource is a resource that will eventually run out and not be able to be used.

A renewable resource is a resource that can be used over and over again which will not run out and don’t have an impact on the environment.
