What freedoms are taken away from the people in Swat in this chapter?
Girls were not allowed to be seen outside. School trips were not allowed to happen. They had switched off the cable channels so no one was allowed to watch TV. They also banned board games.
Why do you think the Taliban views these places/objects as “haram”?
They viewed these objects as Haram because Pakistan enjoyed them.
What places/objects do the Taliban destroy?
The taliban took away their music, Buddhas and girls schools field trips. They also destroyed the Buddhist statues and stupas where children played.

A college for Islamic instruction. An Arabic word for College for Islamic Instructions. Some believe that that is where the Taliban get their education.
