What is a hypothesis?
A
A hypothesis is what you think your investigative question is going to prove. It is a guess but it helps to have some scientific reasoning behind it. A hypothesis does not always have to be correct.

A
It must:
- be a statement
- be specific
- include the variables involved (cause and effect)
- be a testable generalization
