A
DKA, pancreatitis.

What are sx of hypomagnesemia?
A
Symptoms are generally related to concurrent hypocalcemia and hypokalemia; they include anorexia, nausea, vomiting, muscle cramps, and weakness. At very low levels, symptoms include hyperactive reflexes, paresthesias, irritability, confusion, lethargy, seizures, and arrhythmias.

What will not correct without mag correction?
A
Hypokalemia and hypocalcemia.

What will EKG show with hypomagnesemia?
A
ECG may show prolonged PR and QT intervals.
