Q

list the common side effects of alpha glucosidase inhibitors

A

flatulence, abdominal cramping, and diarrhea are side effects that frequently result from undigested carbohydrates that reach bacteria in the lower colon. With the exception of occasional increases in liver transaminases, alpha glucosidase inhibitors are considered non toxic.
