Header
Title bar - The Hyperspace header displays information about both where and who you are including -The department which you’re logged into “EMH US Imaging” -The environment you logged into -Your user’s name

Epic Button
This where you find less frequently used activities.

Hyperspace Toolbar
contains buttons (Appts, ANC Orders…) that let you quickly access frequently - used activities.

Workspaces
A workspace is an area to perform a set of related tasks, such as scheduling an appointment or checking in a patient.

Toolbar Wrench
The toolbar wrench allows you to customize the options on your tool bar
Chart Search
The chart search bar allows you to search menus and a patient’s chart (if open) for quick access to relevant activities and documentation.
Button
Found all over Hyperspace. Some with icons or text.
Field
A Field has two parts
prompt - asking to enter information
Completion mapping - partial text
check box
A check bos is similar to a filed, except a user only option is to select or not
Hyperlink
A hyperlink is a clickable text that moves you to a new window or takes action on an order

t (today)
w (week)
m (month)
mb (month beginning)
md (month end)
y (year)
n+15= now+15 minutes
t+1 = Today +1 (tomorrow)
w+2 = 2 weeks from today
m+6 = 6 months from today
mb = the first day of current month
me = the last day of the current month
y+1 = the date one year from today
Resource Sidebar
Once an appointmet is scheduled, the sidebar allows users to assign physician and staff members to an appointment.

Schedule
Displays the schedule for the apointment providers.

Calendar
The Calendar can be used to view a provider’s schedule on different days.

Depot
The depot contains orders that need to be scheduled. Orders from the depot can be dragged onto the schedule for scheduling.

Details Panel
When a patient is selected, the details panel shows information about the patient, their order, and their appointment.

Logging Out vs Securing Hyperspace
Logging out: you are done doing your work for the moment, and will leave Hyperspace
Securing Hyperspace: keeps your data safe, while holding you place on that workstation.
