Inadequate hydration, diabetes insipidus,
diuresis, vomiting, diarrhea, diaphoresis,
tachypnea, iatrogenic (e.g., TPN)

symptoms?
A
Seizures, confusion, stupor, pulmonary or
peripheral edema, tremors, respiratory
paralysis

D5W, 1/4 NS, or 1/2 NS
