Bay county in Florida had to borrow $250 million to pay for clean up, Trump declared major disaster in 5 counties so residents were able to receive grants, Trump signed an emergency declaration for Georgia authorising funding for 75% of the cost of emergency protective measures and removal of storm debris
What were some short term responses ?
3,500 troops were deployed, National Guard made 29 distribution centres, 47 helicopters deployed
