Why do we so strongly believe that things continue to exist even when we do not perceive them
Continual in perceived existence
Imagination, constancy, and coherence make us believe things continue to exist
Constancy
Similar impressions of the same object make is believe that object is still the same over time
Coherence
We predict what will happen to an object because it has been observed to happen before
Where does self come from
