What does the Legislative Branch do?

A

Every state has two representatives in the Senate, and the number of representatives per state in the House of Representatives is based on the population of each state. The legislative branch is the branch that makes all laws, declares war, regulates interstate and foreign commerce, and controls taxing and spending policies.

A

The executive branch, also known as the presidential branch, is the one that passes and vetoes bills. They also are in charge of making sure that the laws of the United States are obeyed. The head is the President.

A

The judicial branch is the supreme court. Their job is to carry out the laws. There are 9 Supreme Court justices, one of them being the chief justice. decides the constitutionality of federal laws and resolves other disputes about federal laws.

A

Everyone took an oath of secrecy. This meant that they wouldn’t be telling anyone, especially the media, about what was discussed in that room.They didn’t want anyone to feel like they had to hold back, or lie, because of the fear of people being upset by what was said.
