blue collar jobs such as laborer’s and machine operators are generally located in the south west regions.

Many suburbs below the 1 million mark and below Sydney’s price median $1. 032 million are located west of the latte line.

opportunity divide
High levels of crime and poor maintenance of western suburbs create a negative stigma in these locations limiting the populations opportunities such as education and jobs
