Gross national product

An estimate of total value of all the final products and services produced in a give period by the means of production owned by a country’s residents.
What does HDI stand for?
Human development index
What are the four factors of development
Life expectancy, literacy rates, Education rates and Gross domestic products (GNP)

The measurement of which are the quantity of something in a country

Population of a country and national income per capita
What is qualitative?
The standards of living that are hard to measure
Example of qualitative
Political freedoms, social opportunities and environmental equality.
What is human development index (HDI)
The measurement of a countries social and economical growth
What is HDI measured on?
Life expectancy, gross national income, literacy rates and education rates.
What is global south and global north
Poorly developed and developed countries
E.g Zimbabwe and Norway.
