What is Article 2.1?
A
(Right to Life).
Everyone’s right to life should be protected by law.
No one shall be deprived of his life intentionally, save in the execution of a sentence of a court following his conviction of a crime which this penalty is provided by law.

What is Article 2.2?
A
Deprivation of life shall not be regarded as inflicted in contravention of this article when it results from the use of force which is no more than absolutely necessary.
(Intentionally taking life can only be done as a part of a court sentence for a crime).

A
The death penalty shall be abolished. No-one shall be condemned to such penalty or executed.
