According to the Philippine commission on human rights is defined as supreme, inherent and inalienable right to life, dignity, and self development
Human Rights
These rights are inherent and for all
Innate or natural rights
These rights are mandated, granted, and protected by the constitution of a country. This may be mended, changed or removed through constitutional amendments.
Constitutional rights
These rights are mandated by law approved and ratified by Congress or lawmakers.
Statutory rights
Many of these rights are in innate and not created by law but are preserved by law.
Civil rights
These represent the right to vote and participate in political process to decide on the countries, leadership and governance, and to be able to uphold public office
Political rights
These rights are for the freedom to choose and pursue a livelihood business and a decent lifestyle, according to ones desired or preferred career
Economic or livelihood rights
These rights include the freedom to participate in living out ones beliefs, and continuing and enhancing one’s on traditions and customs
Social or cultural rights
These protect people, accused of any transgression of the law. Some of these are as follows the right to be presumed innocent until proven guilty.
