What does the zygote have to do
Has to go through many cell divisions to form the embryo

Tissue that transfers nutrients and oxygen to the baby by the umbilical cord it also removes waste and carbon dioxide
What happenes during pregnancy
The Zygot goes through cell divisions to form the embryo
Then the embryo becomes attached of the lining of the uterus this is implantation
The amniotic sack acts a shock absorber
Pregnancy lasts for nine months
What does the testes do?
Produces sperm and testosterone
What does the scrotum do?
Hold the testes
What does the penis do?
Allows her sperm to be transferred into the vagina
What does the sperm duct do?
Carries sperm from tests to the penis
What does the urethra do?
Duct inside penis
What does the vagina do?
Holds penis during intercourcse
What does the ovary do
Produces the egg + oestrogen
What is the fallopian tube do
Fertilisation occurs here
What does the cervix do
The entrance to the uterus
What is the menstrual cycle
A series of changes that take place in the female bpdy in preparation of pregnancy
Whats the menstruation (period)
Shedding of the lining of the uterus in the absence if fertilisation
It last approx 28 days

Day 1-5 period.
Day 4-13 uteruw lining thickens
Day 14 ovlation ( egg is realised into fallopian tube

48 hours

Whats fertilisation
The fusion of the sperm and the egg to produce a zygote
