  • systems orientation - performance results from the interaction of a sociotechnical system in which the person is but one embedded component
  • Person centredness - the person or group is central, efforts must be taken to support people through the design of work systems that fit their capabilities, characteristics, not the other way around
  • Design-drive improvements - person-centred design can improve outcomes
