A

It is the HRM function that involves recruiting, selecting, training and developing the workforce. if there is to be diversity in the people employed, it would be up to HR to ensure that in carrying out their practises, diversity can be preserved.

HR is the functional area of the business that directly impacts who is brought in and retained. Therefore, they are the ones directly responsible for engaging in practices that attract, develop, and retain diverse individuals; thus maintaining a diverse workplace.
