Job Design
Process of deciding which tasks will be performed by a person in a particular job.
Job Enlargement
Refers to an increase in the number of tasks to be completed in a job, but with all the tasks being very similar.
• Does not encourage motivation because it is increasing the amount of work
Job Rotation
Involves moving workers through a number of different jobs, allowing the organisation to have several people who are all trained to do a particular job.
Job Enrichment
empowers the employee by giving more responsibility for the decision making in the job.
