How does exercise effect your muscles
Muscle ache and muscle fatigue
Strength
Amount of force a muscle can exert against a resistance
Circuit training
A series of exercises, completed for a certain amount of time, one after another
Interval
Involves alternating stages of high and low intensity activity
Fartlek
A method of training for runners where the terrain and speed are constantly changing
Plyometric
Exercises where muscles use maximum force in short intervals of time
Weight
Involves lifting weight to increase the strength of muscles, using repetitions and sets
Flexibility
The range of motion in your joints and flexibility in your joints
Cardiovascular endurance
The ability to exercise the whole body for a long amount of time (cardio work)
Body composition
The percentage of muscle
Agility
Ability to control the movement of the whole and clear positions quickly
Speed
Rate of which an individual can cover a movement and range of distance
Reaction time
The time of how quickly an individual can move from something (gun shot,bleep or clap)
Balance
Keeping the body stable while at a point
Power
To undertake strength performance quickly
Coordination
Ability to use two or more body parts
