What does Cardio Vascular Fitness mean?
Your ability to exercise your whole body for long periods of time.
What does speed mean?
The rate at which an individual can perform a movement or cover a distance.
What does agility mean?
The ability to control the movement of the whole body and change position quickly.
What does flexibility mean?
The range of motion of your joints.
What does balance mean?
Is being able to keep the body stable, while at or in motion.
What does power (Speed x Strength) mean?
The ability to undertake strength performances quickly.
What does reaction time mean?
The time between the presentation of a stimulus and the onset of a movement
What does Muscular endurance mean?
The ability to use voluntary muscles many times without getting tired.
What does co ordination mean?
The ability to use two or more body parts together.
What does muscular strength mean?
The amount of force a muscle can exert against a resistance
What is the 12 minute cooper run test?
Cardio vascular, cover as much distance as possible, don’t walk.
What is the 30m sprint test?
Run 30m time recorded on a stopwatch
What is the Illinois agility test
On your chest to start, timed with a stopwatch
What is the sit and reach test?
Sit down don’t bend knees and move slowly.
What is the standing stork test?
Stand straight with hands on hips, go on tip toes and balence for as long as possible.
