What does cows stand for
Can you hear me? Open your eyes if you can hear me. What’s your name? Squeeze my hand if you can hear me.
What do you do to clear the airway
Tilt the person head up to open the airway if their is vomit you can get scoop it out
What do you do for breathing
- Look or movement of the lower chest for 10 sec
- listen for sound of regular breathing
3.Feel for air from the mouth or nose with your cheek - If the person is not breathing or not breathing normally you commend cpr
How do you do cpr
- 30 compression
- give air or say breath
- check for movement of the lower chest for 10 sec
- do it again one last time
What do you do for danger
Always ensure that the area is safe for you, the injured person and any bystander before approaching an accident or emergency. If you can, remove the source of the risk or danger or remove people from it. Only do this if there is no risk to you.
