being disoriented or delirious

being aggressive or behaving strangely
convulsions, seizures or coma.

What is the treatment for burns

A

Follow DRSABCD.
If the burn is severe or if it involves the airway, call Triple Zero (000) for an ambulance. hold the burnt area under cool running water for 20 minutes.
Remove any clothing and jewellery from burnt area, unless they are stuck to the burn.
Cover the burn with a light, loose nonstick dressing, preferably clean,
check the patient for shock, and treat if necessary

A

Difficulty breathing.​

Anxiety.​

Rapid heartbeat.​

whats the treatment for shock

A

Raise the patient’s legs (unless they have fractures or a snake bite) above the level of the heart, with head flat on the floor. Treat any wound or burn and immobilise fractures. Loosen tight clothing around neck, chest and waist. Maintain the patient’s body warmth with a blanket or similar.​
