Why is ‘inspiration’ a complex word in christianity?
Christians find inspiration in the bible and believe that its inspired by God. However the word ‘inspire’ comes from the greek word ‘theopneustos’ which literally means ‘God-breathed’

What is the Maratorian canon?
A list of accepted texts. It has all the later canonical texts, but not Hebrews or 1 and 2 Peter. It also includes texts that were left out. 2nd Century.

Often seen as when the new testament was fixed although in reality it was only about 2/3rds done.

What was the council of Florence?
It saw the greek orthodox church adopt the longer Palestinian canon as their old testament. The Russian orthodox church went for the shorter version.
