What was a wardship fine
It meant once a baron died their land and if they had a child under the age the king would take control of the baron’s land and take of him until he came of age. When they came of age they would have to pay for their fathers land.
What were forest fines
The king could claim forest fines for people living, working, hunting and foraging on land that belonged to him
What was scutage
A payment made in return for not having to fight and this money was used to raise professional armies
