Signs and symptoms
A
Non-specific symptoms (malaise, lethargy), fever and productive cough

Diagnosis
A
- Chest x-ray = shows infiltrates
Lab results
- CBC: leukocytosis and increased CRP
- Positive sputum culture

Treatment
A
- Antibiotics = piperacillin-tazobactam, cefepime, levofloxacin, imipenem, or meropenem
Other interventions
- Supplemental oxygen and fluids
