3 Causes: Tight closed throat, too much mouthpiece pressure toward lips, and tense, excessively pursed lip formation (biting)
3 Remedies: Review breathing; suggest yawn with head up, relax grip, and re-form “EM” but de-emphasize lip pursing

A

3 Causes: Tight closed throat, too much pucker in lips (hard “oo” shape), and tense, excessively pursed lip formation
3 Remedies: Review breathing; suggest yawn with head up, re-form and maintain “EM” position, and re-form “EM” but de-emphasize lip pursing

No tone, rushing air (4 causes / 3 remedies)

A

4 Causes: Too much pucker in lips (“oo shape”), lips not together (spread aperture), insufficient air to make lips vibrate, and dry lips, dry mouthpiece
3 Remedies: Re-form and maintain “EM” position with lips, review breathing; use faster air, and lick lips, inside of mouthpiece

A

2 Causes: Too much pucker in lips (“oo” shape) and lips not together (spread aperture)
