anterior pituitary, from fless progesterone at end of pregnancy. causes mammary glands to enlarge and milk production.
endorphin
from anteri. pit. in response to pain, causes pain relief
GH
from GHRH, causes growth of long bones and anabolism
Calcitonin
thyroid, from high [Ca2+], causes reduction of [Ca2+]
T4&T3
thyroid, from TSH increases metabolism
parathyroid hormone
parathyroid. from low plasma [Ca2+], causes increased [Ca2+]
glucagon
a pancreatic cells, from low blood sugar. increases blood gluc.
insulin
B cells of pancreas. from high blood gluc. decreases blood gluc.
somatostatin
from pancreatic delta cells. from high hormone levels, suppresses GH TSH CCK insulin and glucagon

adrenal cortex, from stress causes more blood gluc and suppresses immune system
