What are the 10 effects of Adrenaline?

A
  1. Stimulates liver to covert glycogen into glucose so that more glucose is available for cellular respiration.
  2. Blood Glucose level increases
  3. Increases metabolic rate so more energy is released in tissue respiration
  4. Increases the rate of heartbeat and causes a rise in b.p so oxygen and glucose are carried faster
  5. Increases rate and depth for respiration so more oxygen is available for tissue respiration.
  6. Increases rate of blood clotting.
  7. Constricts arterioles to gut, decreasing digestive activities
  8. Constricts arterioles in skin, causing paleness, channelling more blood to the muscles.
  9. Dilates pupils to enhance vision
