CAA
Triggered responses to items coded on the MDS specific to a residents problems, needs, or strenghts
Case Mix
System that uses residents attributes (functional status, ADL’S etc) to classify residents for purposes such as billing and reimbursement.
Can also be a measure of the intensity of care and services used by a group of residents within a facility
Case Mix Index
Each RUG is assigned a weight , or numeric score that reflects a relative resources predicted to provide care to a resident
