Why is the border cave (KZN) significant
skeleton of an infant was found in a shallow grave, showcases these humans had abstract thoughts and emotion about life after death. a rich variety of complex tools made out of tusks, bone and stone have been found
Blombos cave artifacts
Earliest use of fire to make ochre artefacts at
Blombos cave and Pinnacle Point cave (Mossel Bay).
Explain the evolution of extensively drug resistant tuberculosis
If multiple Drug resistant TB medicines are not taken correctly MDR Tb can mutate into XDR TB. the mutated bacteria are so resistant to all TB treatments they make XDR TB untreatable. This shows how natural selection favoring a mutation that enables the reproductive success of an organism in adverse environmental conditions
How do Agricultural pest evolve
genetic variation among members of a particular insect population enable some to withstand the insecticide. The majority of the population will dies out, However those individuals that can tolerate contact with poison’s reproduce in doing so they pass tolerant genes to their offspring. Through the process of natural selection eventually all the insecticide intolerant insects will have died out. leaving the tolerant super bug therefor making the original insecticide useless
