My summer vacation was very good. Everyday was very hot, but I used the air conditioner in my room. | Me with my roommate together went to the supermarket. We bought tomatoes, broccoli, potatoes, beans, chicken and beef. The vegetables and the chicken were very cheap. The beef was very expensive. On Sundays I cooked. On Thursdays in the morning, I went swimming at the gym (jiàn shēn fáng). In the evenings, I watched the Jamaicans play football. On Saturdays, I went to the park to play badminton (yǔ máo qiú). I had lunch at Chinese restaurants. I ate a lot of spicy Chinese foods. I frequently gave my grandmother a phone call. I got new (xīn) glasses (yǎn jìng). I went to the dentist (yá yī). I went to Huang Shan. First, I checked plane tickets. They were very expensive. Then, I travelled by train. From Monday to Tuesday I go to Chinese villages (cūn zhuāng). On Wednesday I returned to dorm.
