Believed to be composed by God, also known as ‘revealed scriptures’ and means ‘that which is heard’. It is how god made himself known to humans and has not altered for thousands of years

Holy books, believed to be composed by realised souls ‘that which has been remembered’. They are believed to be what people can remember about god, not gods actual words, they have changed over time and have adapted to Hindus today but the meaning remains the same
