in my opinion, holidays are an occasion for

But personally, holidays are a time to relax
Mais personnellement, les vacances c’est une temp se détendre
for trying new activities
pour essayer de nouvelles activités
however i also love active holidays because i am passionate about sport
cependant j’adore les vacances actives car je me passionne pour le sport
i have been doing swimming since i was 5. so i also like spending my holidays by the sea because i can swim in the sea
je fais de la natation depuis çinq ans. alors aussi j’aime bien passer mes vacances au bord de la mer parce que je nage dans la mer
i dont like holidays abroad because my parents think that it’s important to see lots of different cultures but I think it’s boring
je n’aime pas les vacances à l’étranger parce que mes parents pensent qu’il est important de connaître beaucoup de cultures différentes. mais je pense que c’est ennuyeux
before leaving, i had packed my bag and was all prepared
avant de partir, j’avais fait ma valise et tout préparé
it was a disaster
c’était un désastre
On the second day we went to a restaurant and I had the fish. It was not very expensive so I got sick. Unfortunately I had to go to the hospital so I did not have fun on my holiday.
Le deuxième jour, on est allés au restaurant et j’ai pris le poisson. C’était vraiment pas cher donc je suis tombé malade. Malheureusement j’ai dû aller à l’hôpital alors je n’ai pu m’amuser pendant mes vacances.
We spent five days in this hotel, The Pig.
Nous avons passé 5 jours dans cet hôtel, Le Cochon.
It went very well because it was clean and really not expensive.
Ça s’est très bien passé parce que c’était propre et vraiment pas cher.
The breakfast was free and it was delicious. The service was also impeccable. What I liked the best was that they had sausages every day.
Le petit-déjeuner était offert et c’était délicieux! Aussi le service était impeccable. Ce qui m’a plu le plus c’était qu’il y avait du saucisson tous les jours.
if I had the choice, I would stay in a cabin in the countryside and it would be marvellous! I would go with my friends and my family so it would be very fun.
Si j’avais le choix, je logerais dans un gîte à la campagne et ce serait merveilleux! Je voyagerais avec mes copains et ma famille donc ce serait très amusant.
There would be a café which would be open all night. There would also not be any bad weather.
Il y aurait un café qui serait ouvert toute la nuit. Aussi il n’y aurait pas du mauvais temps.
We would watch the sunset every night. It would be incredible!
Nous regarderions le coucher du soleil tous les soirs. Ce serait formidable!
When i was little i used to go to my grandparents house in the mountains and it was fun because it snowed
quand j’étais petit j’irais chez mes grandparents à la montagne et c’était amusant parce qu’il neigé
