You are going on a summer holiday!
What do you pack?
(There are a few ideas in the picture!)
Swimming Costume, Sun cream, Shorts, T-shirts, Towel, Sunglasses. Passport, Flip-flops, Sun hat etc…
You are at the airport with your family! You are all going on a Summer holiday.
The officer at passport control asks to see your passport and asks if you are travelling alone and asks where you are going?
What do you say?!
Here is my passport.
I am travelling with my family.
I am going on a Summer holiday.
You are on the aeroplane now and it has taken off.
The air hostesses are coming around with the refreshments trolley. An air hostess asks if you would like something to eat and/or drink?
What do you say?
Yes please, I would like… to eat/drink.
Or, No thank you, I’m fine.
You have arrived at your destination and have collected your suitcases.
**You need to buy four train tickets for you and your family to get to your hotel in Bournemouth. **
Ask the person selling train tickets for return tickets for you and your family. (Don’t forget to tell them your destination!)
The seller asks if the tickets are for adults or children. Tell him/her how many of each you require.
I would like to buy four return tickets to Bournemouth please!
2 adult return tickets and 2 children return tickets please!
You eventually arrive at your hotel.
It is very late but you don’t have any towels.
Your parents ask you to go to reception and tell the receptionist what you want!
What do you say?
We don’t have any towels in our room.
Could I have 4 towels for me and my family please.
After a good night’s sleep you decide to go to the beach for the day! You only have one big bag for the four of you!
What are the most important things to pack for a day on the beach?! (Don’t forget the weather is a bit different in England!)

Rain coat!
Swimming costumes
