Primary - solitary painful ulcer Secondary - Mucosal patches and ulcers - Mouth, anogenital, rectal - Systemic inflammation, hepatitis "Any anogenital ulcer or sore is syphilis until proven otherwise"

3-6/12 - inguinal syndrome, ano-rectal syndrome
Then strictures, fistulae, genital elephantiasis
