A law created that gave hitler emergency power. Hitler used this power to target the communists. This allowed the Nazis to build Dachau ( The first concentration camp ).
What does internment mean?
Sending people to a concentration camp without trial.

What problems Hitler still face after he was elected as chancellor?
- Many of the people who had supported Hitler in his appointment in chancellor, only did so because they thought he would be controlled.
- Hindenburg was still president and had the power to remove Hitler.
- Nazi support had begun to decline.

It would mean the democracy was now dead in Germany.

It meant that all aspects of German life was to fit with the Nazi ideals.
