What was the Enabling Act?
The SA bully and force the other party’s in the gov to vote for Hitler

A military group the Nazi party formed in 1921

How did the local gov change?
The country was divided into 42 areas which are each ran by a head Nazi. Hitler sets up the Gestapo to help him spy on different areas
What happens to the trade unions on 2nd May 1933?
Trade unions are abolished and their leaders arrested
What happens on 14th July 1933?
Political parties are banned - only Nazi party is allowed to exist
What agreement does Hitler make with the Pope?
The agreement allows Hitler to take over political power in Germany as long as he leaves The Catholic church alone
Why does Hitler make the agreement?
Hitler makes an agreement with the Pope who sees him as someone who can destroy communism
