Hit List 2013 Flashcards
767 Dimensions (Wingspan (W/nonW), Length, Height
WS(W) 50.88 WS(NW) 47.57 Length 54.94 Height 15.85
ANA Touchdown Zone and Aiming Point
TDZ 750-2000” Aiming Point 1250”
3 Types of takeoff
Normal- brakes, 70%, release brakes, N1 (good for slippery)
Rolling- 70%, N1 with no brakes (recommended for strong Xwind and tailwind. Increases T/O dist by 150’)
Static- Brakes on until T/O thrust set
Cost index 0
maximum range and minimum trip fuel. Ignores the cost of time
Cost index 999
Minimum time. Uses maximum flight envelope speeds. Ignores the cost of fuel
ANA Cost Index
- Slightly faster than LRC, (which is 99% fuel mileage or MRC)
Explain FLCH
- AT sets thrust based on ALT change req’d
- MCP opens to speed which FLCH was pushed
Exiting APP mode (armed, LOC cap, LOC & GS cap)
Armed- select other roll and pitch mode
LOC- select another roll mode
LOC&GS- Disengage AP and turn off both FDs
TMSP modes (10)
TO, TO1, TO2, D-TO, CLB, CLB 1, CLB 2, CRZ, CON, GA
TOGA On ground vs in air
On ground- Provides max TO thrust
In Air- GA thrust (2000fpm climb rate)

FUEL CONFIG
- Both C tank pumps off with more than 1200lbs in C tank
- Fuel imbalance between main tanks of 2000lbs +/- 500
- Fuel Qty below approx 2200lbs in a main tank
LOW FUEL
Less than approx 2200lbs in L or R main tank
TO1 Thrust reduction
95% of max rated thrust (-300). -300ER and freighter have further 5% reduction
TO2 Thrust reduction
85% of max rated thrust (-300). -300ER and Freighter have further 5% reduction
Low Fuel Emergency
Estimated fuel on landing expected to be less than 30 mins holding fuel. MAYDAY situation.
Minimum Fuel
Fuel remaining has reached a stage where little or no unexpected delay can be accepted. Not an emergency nor a priority request.
