6 million unemployed in 1933 to 350,000 in 1939
How were the unemployment figures inaccurate ?
There was lots of invisible unemployment
- Jews and women forced out of their jobs were not included.
- Those sent concentration camps did not feature on the statistics.
- Figures included part-time employment
How did the treatment of women differ from the Weimar Republic ?
During Weimar women had made substantial progress towards equality
The Nazis however had very traditional views and reversed many changes.
