Teddy was a police officer and when he went to negotiate he would bring a big stick so everyone would use force if needed.
What was Seward’s Folly? Why was it considered a mistake?
The Seward’s Folly was the treaty to buy Alaska. People thought this was a mistake because everyone thought Alaska was a useless block of ice.
What impact did the Panama Canal have on America’s empire?
When boats had to travel from california instead of going the 6 month journey around the entire continent of South America people handmade the Panama Canal so it was a quicker journey.
