Desert

Oases
They traveled from oasis to oasis in search of water and vegetation. Oasis dwellers ate fruit and vegetables available to them and built towns. Many of these towns became linked by trade.
Coastal Plains
The plain is suitable for farming and most settlers depend on farming. People built deep wells and dams to irrigate their crops. Traders send their goods to trading towns or seaports and traded with merchants from India to East Africa.

People have lived in these mountains for thousands of years isolated from the rest of the Arabian Peninsula.People lived in houses made of mud bricks . People farmed on the steep slopes by creating terraces .Farmers constructed dams and irrigation systems and stored extra rainwater
