The schlieffen plan was to invade france by going through belgium and then circling back to fight russia on the eastern front

Austria hungarys emperor Frank Joeph was furious at the assasination of his nephew and heir to the throne. He issued a tej point ultimatum to serbia holding them responsible for the murdia. serbia only avg agreed to none of the points so austria hungary declared war
