zhou dynasty looking for better ways to live, Confucius was a teacher and philosopher, he belived that a worthy person is honest, loyal, self-sacrificing, loving has manners, good morals, caring, government should be chosen for ability, care for elders, get wealthy the right We are here, do what you would want toehrs to treat you, learn and think, all in analects

laozi-founder(not sure if he really existed), lived peacefully, practising silence, stillness and meditation, people who followed this has power (Invisibility and raising people from dead), believed that when 2 forces are together it balanced and harmony (yin yang)
