buddha means enlightened one, a prince siddhartha gautama invented it, treat all equally, four noble truths are about suffering and turth is the way out and we suffer from desire, came to china from india from silk road
taoism
laozi-founder(not sure if he really existed), lived peacefully, practising silence, stillness and meditation, people who followed this has power (Invisibility and raising people from dead), believed that when 2 forces are together it balanced and harmony (yin yang)
