A

State of emergency is when the army and the policial are given the ability to arrest people on suspicion without having the respect the peoples rights, police and soldiers were brought from SA to stop the strike in Namibia many works were put in prison and tortured

A

In 1973 the eloc printing press was destroyed in a bomb blast. This press was used to publish pastoral letters and all other correspondense sent to lutheran churches in Namibia. The police investigated the blast but did not identify the culprits, in 1980 the same thing happend. Its likely the south african forces were responsible

On 17 september 1978 the roman catholic church at omuulukila was blown up it was a sunday evening and nobody was in the church, so nobody was injured. The SADF accused SWAPO of the blast but SWAPO denied this.

Every region has two representatives in the national council

A

It carries out the plans of the governement according to the acts passed by the parliiment. It is being headed by the president and the cabinet ministers. President and cabinet ministers make up the executive brank of the central government, The presiednt servers for 5 years after the next election should take place. A president can only server for two terms like 10 years.

A

It consists of the judges and courts, its function is to ensure that justice is mantained in Namibia. The judgeslisten to the cases in courts, interprets laws and on the way to apply them. They give punishments to citizens who break the laws of the country. Nobody can interfere with a judges interpretation of the law. There are three levels of the courts in namibia;
