In 1929 Economical issues in Italy and Germany, people blame communism, capitalism, democracy and even Jews. This allowed Hitler to rise up as now he can blame jews for the crash and promise to save the problems allowing more votes for him
Whats appeal to nationalism and how did it contribute to facism?
Italy and Germany embarassed after WW2 and they wanted to become a strong nation. To do this, they needed to invade countries as they believed all weak countries deserved to be conquered.

National socialism started in 1919 the year of the treaty. Its the ideology for the Nazi Party and was led by Adolf hitler in 1921.
How is facism different to nazism?
nazisism is the belief all germans should have lebensraum (living space) in europe. It also was a violent hatred towards specific people especially Jews and those not of the ideal race (Aryans) set by hitler
