Q
Mecanismo del sistema Renina-Angiotensina-Aldosterona
A
2
Q
Factores que aumentan la secreción de Renina
A
There are three primary stimuli for renin secretion:
- (-) NaCl transport in the distal portion of the thick ascending limb of the loop of Henle that abuts the corresponding afferent arteriole (macula densa)
- **baroreceptor mechanism within the renal afferent arteriole **: (-) pressure or stretch
- sympathetic nervous system stimulation of renin-secreting cells via β1 adrenoreceptors.
Also renin secretion increases in response to pharmacologic blockade of either ACE or angiotensin II receptors.

Q
Factores que Inhiben la secreción de Renina
A
- increased NaCl transport in the thick ascending limb of the loop of Henle,
- Increased stretch within the renal afferent arteriole, and
- β1 receptor blockade.
- In addition, angiotensin II directly inhibits renin secretion due to angiotensin II type 1 receptors on juxtaglomerular cells
