Q

modified Thomas test

A

flexion 130, extension 0
in supine position flex the unaffected hip. if the affected hip rises from the plinth, this indicates loss of extension in the hip/ presence of fixed flexion deformity = positive Thomas test

18
Q

Ortolani test

A

reduces a dislocated hip by abduction and elevation of flexed femur
