It’s actions is to flex, adduct & medially rotate the hip

It’s origin is the ASIS
It’s insertion is the proximal medial shaft of the tibia at pes anserinus tendon
It’s actions are to flex, laterally rotate & abduct the hip, also to flex and medially rotate flexed knee
Psoas Major origin, insertion & actions
It’s origin is the bodies of the TVPs of the lumbar vertebrae
It’s insertion is the lesser trochanter
It’s actions is to flex the hip, flex the trunk toward the thigh & tilt the pelvis anteriorly
Origin, insertion & actions for Iliacus
It’s origin is the iliac fossa
It’s insertion is the lesser trochanter
It’s actions is to flex & laterally rotate the hip also to flex the trunk toward the thigh & tilt the pelvis anteriorly
