A

slight extension. ABDuction and IR

17
Q

Open packed position of hip

A

10-30 flexion, 10-30 ABDuction and 0-5 ER

18
Q

bursas of the hip 3

A
  1. iliopsoas bursa- deep to the psoas tendon. cushions anterior aspect of hip joint capsule
  2. superficial trochanteric bursa- between greater trochanter and TFL
  3. ischiogluteal bursa- between ischium and gluteal muscles. aka weavers bottom
19
Q

external snapping

A
  1. Iliotibial band snapping over greater trochanter, hip ADDuction and knee extension will tighten the IT band and increase snapping
  2. Iliopsoas tendon catching on pelvic brim/iliopectineal eminence, or femoral head. enhanced by tight iliopsoas and can cause bursitis
20
Q

internal snapping

A

torn labrum, possible loose bodies

21
Q

posterior capsule tightness

A

IR decreased, ER normal.

22
Q

Anterior capsule tight

A

ER decreased, IR normal
